About
Cabana Paulownia is a wooden Chalet, handcrafted by our family, located in the middle of nature, in a secluded location, approximately 3 km from the center of Budești village, in the heart of Maramureș. The garden of over 1 hectare offers generous space for playing, exploring and relaxing outdoors, being ideal for families with children, friends or couples seeking peace and nature.
Guests have at their disposal a fully equipped place with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, as well as a private plot with a tree house for all the adventurous children (children's playground), a barbecue area, a campfire and numerous relaxation corners. You can enjoy a delicious meal prepared on the outdoor grill and end the evening together by the campfire, under the open sky, admiring the stars.

How to get to the Cabana Paulownia?
Cabana Paulownia is located in the natural and wild forests of Maramureș.
The location can only be accessed by car. The road is an asphalted country road and the last 300 meters is not asphalted , not in the best quality but it can be climbed by normal car. Depending on the weather, during winter and rainy days the ground can be very muddy and access is more difficult.
By car, drive to the village of Budești - Maramureș and follow the signs to the Monastery of Constantin and Elena. After about 2km 900 meters before you reach the Monastery, you will see a plateau where wood is stored and a wooden hut on the left side. Here there will be a junction where you will have to take the road to the left. After 200 metres on this road you will see the gate with the name of the hut on the right hand side. Enter and the chalet is up the hill.

The Paulownia chalet was visited by families, groups of friends, couples, workers... No one was left indifferent after their stay and many wanted to leave us a short review and leave a record of their experience in the house and the surroundings this one.

A beautiful cabin, in the middle of the forest, a dream location. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. We were 4 adults and 4 children and we had the most beautiful experience, everything is wonderful. If you love nature, and want to recharge your batteries and enjoy the peace and quiet, I recommend the paulownia cabin. We will definitely come back! Thank you to the hosts for everything!

It was a beautiful experience, dream landscape, a beautiful cottage, tastefully done, well equipped and clean. The internet is very weak, it didn't bother us adults but the children were very upset. The only thing that bothered us was the water pressure, it is very low. We will be back with pleasure!
